Kyle and Curt LeDuc Score First-Ever Son/Father Finish at Las Vegas



LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – Rick Huseman, driver of the #36 Monster Energy/Traxxas/Toyota/Toyo Tires® Tundra, won the Pro 4X4 Truck class championship for The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series at Las Vegas Speedway this weekend. Finishing second overall is Kyle LeDuc, driver of the #99 Rockstar/Makita/Ford Trucks/Toyo Tires F-150, making it a 1-2 finish for Toyo Tires in the Pro 4X4 Truck class championship in TORC. Both Huseman and LeDuc’s 900-horsepower trucks rely on 35X12.50R17 Toyo® Open Country M/T®-R tires for grip.



“I am really stoked to win this championship with Toyo Tires. It is great to finally get this,” said Huseman. “My Open Country M/T-R tires have been flawless all year, working better than any other tires. I am glad to be on Toyo’s.”



Huseman also captured seven ‘Oakley Bomb Run’ awards (fastest lap of the race) out of 16 races during the season and finished the season with 336-points. Prior to the 2009 season, Huseman finished in the runner-up spot in five short course off-road race championships. Last year, he was tied for the championship lead in CORR™ in the Pro 4™ class before the season was suddenly cut short just before its finale.



Kyle LeDuc, driver of the #99 Rockstar/Makita/Ford Trucks/Toyo Tires F-150, earned 322-points in the championship and captured four ‘Oakley Bomb Run’ awards, the next highest amount awarded in the class. During Round 15 on Friday night he led his father Curt across the finish line for the series' first-ever son/father 1-2 finish. Curt LeDuc’s Las Vegas podiums continued during Round 16 Saturday night as he wheeled his #43 Rockstar/Makita/Ford Trucks/Toyo Tires F-150 past the checkered flag for a third place finish.



“This was one of the worst race tracks we raced on all year, changing from wet to a dust bowl. It was hard to convert from wet to dry, but our Toyo Tires handled the job,” said Kyle LeDuc. “We (LeDucs) won a lot of races this year with our Open Country M/T-R tires.”



Also pursuing a championship in the Pro 2WD Truck class was Todd LeDuc, Kyle’s brother, with his #3 Rockstar/Makita/Ford Trucks/Toyo Tires F-150. Todd LeDuc finished with two solid fourth place finishes to close out the TORC series Pro 2WD Truck class championship in third overall. He also captured two ‘Oakley Bomb Run’ awards during the 2009 season.

Team Toyo's Rick Huseman Wins at Perris, Closes in on TORC Series Championship

PERRIS, CALIFORNIA – Rick Huseman, driver of the #36 Monster Energy/Traxxas/Toyota /Toyo Tires® Tundra, won Saturday’s Round 14 of the Pro 4X4 class of The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series at Perris, California. With some 12,000 fans attending the night race, Huseman finished some eight lengths in front with his 900-horsepower truck equipped with 35X12.50R17 Toyo® Open Country M/T®-R tires. He also captured an ‘Oakley Bomb Run’ award for having the fastest lap in the race. Kyle LeDuc, driver of the #99 Rockstar/Makita/Ford Trucks/Toyo Tires F-150 finished in second to make it a 1-2 podium for Toyo Tires.

“I drove my Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires as hard as I could and they were still perfect at the end of the race,” said Huseman. “We would have to screw up pretty badly at this point to not win the championship.”

Another Team Toyo Off-Road driver scoring a podium on Saturday at Perris was Todd LeDuc, driver of the #3 Rockstar/Makita/Ford Trucks/Toyo Tires F-150. Todd LeDuc scored a third place finish in the Pro 2WD class to keep him in the top three for the overall points championship.

Perris, California (September 26, 2009) Racing under the lights on any Friday night is every racer’s dream, whether churning rubber on the asphalt or dirt. Rounds 13 & 14 of the 2009 TORC Traxxas Series arrived to Southern California for another big show under the lights as 12,000 fans packed the grandstands to watch some of the closest off road racing seen to date this season. With the competitors seeking the top spot on the podium, it didn’t take long before Rockstar Energy Racing’s Rob MacCachren dashed the dreams of his competition.

The Las Vegas off road racing champion arrived to Perris Auto Speedway locked in a battle for the TORC Series point’s championship and he came out swinging early, which was clearly the right strategy as the multi-time winning champion earned VICTORIES in both rounds of racing.

Southern California was in the midst of a heat wave as Mother Nature unleashed triple digit temperatures across the Southland. Teams from across the nation braved the heat and dialed in their race trucks throughout the afternoon preparing for the evening show. Despite the intense heat and the close racing, MacCachren displayed a textbook example of championship racing talent.

The Rockstar Energy / Mastercraft Safety / BFGoodrich Tires backed Ford F150 gloss black truck was a standout in the early afternoon practice. Beneath the awning, a team of engineers quietly conversed as they prepared to make the final changes before the green flag dropped.

As a full field of TORC Pro2WD primed and roaring race trucks took the green flag, the competition had no idea that Rockstar Energy Racing was about to unleash it’s fury in the dirt of Perris Auto Speedway.

The driver that is commonly referred to as “Rob Mac” has been embattled in an epic point’s war with Supercross Champion Ricky Johnson and world-class racer, Todd LeDuc all season long. With only four races over the next two race weekends, the time had come for the #11 Ford F150 to make a charge towards the front.

After Friday’s practice MacCachren noted, “Well it’s been a long season and we are not so focused on the point’s championship race as much as we are on just plain winning. We’ve put the #11 Rockstar/Mastercraft/BFGoodrich Tires truck on the several times, but we’ve got to win races, that’s the bottom line. The team has worked tireously at implementing the constant changes to become better and I think we’re right there.”

MacCachren wasn’t kidding as he wasted no time in charging hard right off the start line. The inversion put the BFGoodrich Tire shod truck in the second row for the start, but that didn’t last long as Rob Mac wheeled his 800 horsepower Patton Racing motor high on the steep banked turn one, that allowed him a big charge down the backstretch at Perris Speedway. MacCachren gained two positions and took up a spot on the bumper of the leader Jeremy McGrath.

MacCachren raced McGrath hard throughout the first half of the race without a lead change and at the midway point the Rockstar Energy Racing team radio crackled with instructions that it was time to make a move around McGrath. Returning to green flag racing, MacCachren turned on the classic MAC Attack and McGrath was left to fend off charges from Johnson and LeDuc. MacCachren earned the Friday night round 13 victory and later commented, “Tonight our BFGoodrich Tires worked to perfection. At times this season, we’ve struggled and the BFGoodrich engineers have worked closely with our team to perfect the tire. Tonight was a prime example off excellent team work.”

There is no rest for champions as the Rockstar Energy Racing team owner/driver led his dedicated crew late into the night after the victory not celebrating, but working on making the Rockstar Energy sponsored truck even faster. MacCachren met with the FOX Racing Shox VP-John Marking to evaluate his suspension and make it even better. “I’ve worked with FOX Racing Shox for a long time and they provide unparalleled support in all of my racing endeavors. John suggested a couple slight changes and we put them in place for today’s race,” said Rob.

After the impressive victory Friday night, MacCachren gained points in the season point’s race and was moved back to the third row where he started side-by-side with Ricky Johnson, the point’s race leader.

As the trucks emerged onto the front stretch and took the green flag, MacCachren was back doing what he does best. That’s staying away from the trouble and charging to the front. Indeed, the Las Vegas resident worked his way to the front of the pack and shortly after the midway competition yellow flag, he set his bulls eye on the leader, #77 Dan Vanden Heuvel, and set him up for the pass on lap 14 of the 20 lap main event.

Once in front, the Ford backed racer focused on the checkered flag and a short six laps later, Rob MacCachren earned his second victory in as many days. The Patton Racing engine coupled with the Rancho Drivetrain transmission roared loudly in front of the packed grandstands as MacCachren entertained the crowd with a series of celebratory spinouts. At the finish line, MacCachren commented, “Once again, this was a team effort of all involved in this Rockstar Energy Racing team. TROPHYLITE Embraces the future with TORC adding a full short course series for 2010

Now you can choose from long course off-road desert racing or full tilt short course racing in the same TROPHYLITE trucks. In a bold move and weeks of negotiation TROPHYLITE and TORC are happy to announce the next evolution of the TROPHYLITE race series. The addition of a full short course series for the TROPHYLITE trucks that will be run in the TORC series. The addition of the short course race series will be available for all TROPHYLITE teams and will be focused around the west coast races held by TORC. The General Tire TROPHYLITE off-road race series will still have a full 5 or 6 race desert series and championship as it has in years past. The addition of the short course series will enhance the options open to truck and team owners.

TROPHYLITE teaming up with TORC makes sense to bring a low cost spec truck class to the TORC series. In addition to working with TORC this will also allow TROPHYLITE to work with USAC on the series for safety and rules for the events. USAC is well known for their involvement in motorsports and their governing of events.

TROPHYLITE and USAC are in the process of working through a rule modification that will allow drivers to enter the TORC events in a TROPHYLITE truck at the age of 14 years old with their parental permission. Racing in front of 50,000 plus fans all standing on their feet cheering on the nation's top off road racing icons. Rob MacCachren weaved his magic through the intense land rush start that the Crandon International Raceway is well regarded for and after two full days of racing MacCachren charged his Rockstar/Mastercraft Pro 2 sponsored Pro 2 around the 1.65-mile race course each day resulting in podium finishes. Most importantly, MacCachren increased his overall season points total in his quest for the 2009 TORC Series Championship.

Saturday Crandon World Championship Race - TORC Round 11

TORC Pro 2 race trucks took to the track featured as the main event late Saturday afternoon in front of the capacity crowd and by the end of the first turn, racing at nearly 100-miles an hour, Rob MacCachren charged the #11 Ford F150 around the track towards the front in the epic Saturday Crandon World Championship Race.

crandonSaturday's main event featured a full field of Pro 2's in front of a record crowd that came to Crandon International Raceway to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the famed track. Among the many celebrities were Walker Evans and Jack Flannery, both racing legends that raced against the Las Vegas off road racing champion, Rob MacCachren in the early days of Crandon's fame.

In addition to the important Crandon World Championship Saturday racing was the all-important Round 11 of the 2009 TORC Series and the chase for the elusive TORC TRAXXAS Pro 2 Season Championship Title. Saturday's single-race was billed as both the TORC Round 11 and the Crandon World Championship race.

The veteran Rockstar Energy sponsored racer arrived to famed Wisconsin racetrack locked in a tight point's battle with Ricky Johnson, Todd LeDuc and Jeremy McGrath.

crandonAs the full field of Pro 2's entertained the standing room only crowds, Rob MacCachren did what he does best and charged the #11 Pro 2 around this super fast racecourse. MacCachren ran up to the rear bumper of leader Todd LeDuc several times and put the nose of his #11 Rockstar Energy Pro 2 inside LeDuc's race truck several times attempting a clean pass. With one lap remaining MacCachren made his final charge, but time had run out for the 9-time Crandon Champion to overtake the other ROCKSTAR Energy Racing Pro 2 and he settled for the runner up spot. The second place finish added to the season point's total for the #11 Pro 2 and after eleven rounds of racing he's a mere 8 points out of the lead in the chase for the season championship.

At the finish line MacCachren climbed out of his Mastercraft 3G race seat and took his position on the podium claiming second place.

"We had a great run and earned second place. The crew did a great job on the race truck and the track conditions were excellent. I am never happy with a second place finish, but the goal of our Rockstar Energy Racing team is to win the 2009 Pro 2 TORC Series Championship and we are locked in a close point's battle with fellow Rockstar sponsored racer Todd LeDuc," said MacCachren.

Sunday TORC Round 12

As the sun shined brightly on the capacity crowd, Sunday morning came alive with the announcement that Pro 2 racing was kicking off at 10:30 a.m. The Rockstar Energy Racing team had worked late into Saturday night finalizing the prep on the #11 Rockstar/Mastercraft sponsored race truck. Added to the field for the race today was NASCAR racer, Robby Gordon, himself an accomplished off road racing champion who has battled against Rob MacCachren throughout his entire career.

That was no different on Sunday as the two off road racing champions squared off in perhaps one of the best racing duos in Crandon. MacCachren charged his Pro 2 to the front from the land rush start, but it didn't take long for Polaris sponsored Robby Gordon to get with the program. In fact, Gordon jumped into the battle early as he and MacCachren traded positions throughout the race. Although, in the final few laps the champion racer that Wisconsin fans named, "MacCrandon," pressured Robby Gordon and got by the Polaris sponsored racer finishing the race in the third position while Gordon fell back to the 6th position.

MacCachren said," This is another step towards the season championship. We raced hard and although I'm disappointed about not climbing to the top of the podium, I'm pleased that we raced hard to the checkered flag and the truck performed well. We've got some slight changes that we need to make to the truck but all in all, I'm happy with the performance of the Rockstar Energy Racing team. I've got a long list of thanks to many of our marketing partners that continue to support our racing endeavors especially ROCKSTAR Energy Drink and Mastercraft Seats who were both co-title sponsors for this 40th anniversary of Crandon weekend."

Race Recap: Crandon 40th Anniversary Weekend

RACE RECAP: CRANDON, WISCONSIN

Crandon, WI (September 6, 2009)-The Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL made its return to Crandon International Off Road Raceway for the second time this season. Over 40,000 off road fans came to watch the best drivers in the business take on the fastest track on the TORC circuit. So many fans, in fact, that many missed the first race due to the overwhelming amount of traffic.

Saturday in the AMSOIL PRO 4x4 Kyle LeDuc would take the lead from the beginning until he was given the black flag for wrecking Steve Barlow in the first laps of the race. Kyle LeDuc was sent to the back of the pack leaving the window open for Scott Douglas to take the lead and run away with the win. Chad Hord would take second place and the Oakley Bomb in his first PRO 4x4 TORC podium. Mike Jenkins took his second ever career podium and rounded out the top three. Johnny Greaves had an unlucky day after contact with Curt LeDuc, he was out of the race. Rick Huseman had an equally disappointing day finishing fifth.

In the Kumho Tires PRO 2WD class, Todd LeDuc took the points lead away from Ricky Johnson by finished first and taking the Oakley Bomb; Johnson would end up fifth for the day. Joining LeDuc on the podium was Rob MacCachren and Evan Evans. This is the first podium for Evans in the TORC series. Jeremy McGrath finished fifth behind Johnson. Seven trucks did not finish the race due to several incidents on the track.

Jeff Kincaid and Chad Hord continued their domination of the PRO Light class on Saturday taking first and second. Kincaid also took the Oakley Bomb Run Award for the fastest lap time in the race. Chris Brandt rounded out the podium, Brandt has continued to run very consistently all season long. Marty Hart finished fourth and after a few laps behind Kincaid, sank back to a disappointing fifth place finish. Brian Deegan started the race, but ended up parking due to issues with his truck.

ParadeAs As soon as the green flag dropped on Sunday's action in the AMSOIL PRO 4x4 there was a major wreck involving six drivers: Mark Jenkins, Mike Jenkins, Steve Barlow, Adrian Cenni, Jamey Flannery, and Steve McCrossan. The narrowed the starting field of thirteen down to half of its original starting size. Officials red flagged the race and went for a restart after extensive clean up of the race track. Within a lap of the restart Kyle LeDuc took the lead and never looked back. LeDuc had such an enormous lead, he nearly lapped the entire pack. He would eventually take the podium and the Oakley Bomb Run Award for the fastest lap time. Fan favorite Johnny Greaves put up a good battle, but a late race incident would take him out of the race for the BorgWarner trophy.

Robby Gordon made his TORC debut on Sunday in a Polaris sponsored Chevy PRO 2WD. Gordon put on a great show- but was unable to catch veteran Scott Taylor who would eventually take first and the Oakley Bomb. Taylor led the entire race, with no driver even challenging his spot. Ricky Johnson passed Johnson for the second podium position and regained his points lead over Todd LeDuc. MacCachren also passed Gordon to round out the podium for Sunday. Gordon would hold onto fourth until an incident thirty feet from the finish line would cause him to spin, and then cross the finish in reverse taking sixth. Fan favorite Jeremy McGrath never finished on Sunday due to an incident at the beginning of the race involving Evan Evans.

Another driver made his first appearance at Crandon this weekend, Brian Deegan. Deegan sat in the fourth position waiting for an opportunity to pass Casey Currie. On the last lap of the race, Currie eventually succumbed to Deegans advances. First and second went to familiar faces, Jeff Kincaid took the win and his eighth Oakley Bomb, while Chad Hord took second, with Deegan third. This was the first podium for Deegan. Kincaid and Hord continue to dominate the PRO Light class, with no one even coming close to passing them.

The next stop on the 2009 TORC race schedule is Perris Auto Speedway in Perris, California. The action will take place over two evenings, October 23rd and 24th, 2009.

Corona, CA (August 4th, 2009)-The Traxxas TORC Truck Series presented by AMSOIL announces a date change for the 2009 season finale event that will be held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The October 30th -November 1st race weekend will now be held the week prior, October 23rd- 25th, with racing action taking place on Friday and Saturday evening.

"We made the decision to change the date based on scheduling conflicts with other races happening during that weekend at the speedway," said Ricky Johnson co-owner of TORC. "The new date also allows teams needing attending the SEMA Show November 3rd a larger window to have their trucks in top display condition."

Various TORC Championships will be crowned in a number of classes at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The PRO Trucks will be vying for the Oakley Bomb Run Season Award, given to the driver in each class with the most Oakley Bombs for 2009. Oakley will also be awarding a specially designed TORC 2009 Championship Watch to all eleven of the class champions.

The final round of The Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL will be aired on ABC November 8th, 2009 at 1:30PM EST.

Weekend Preview: Bark River, Michigan

WEEKEND PREVIEW: BARK RIVER, MICHIGAN

Corona, CA (August 1st, 2009)- The Traxxas TORC Truck Series presented by AMSOIL is heading back to Bark River International Raceway for another thrilling weekend, the second of two events at the challenging 1.5-mile track. Coming off of two spectacular rounds of SRT and Grassroots competition under the lights at Oshkosh Speedzone, the PRO Trucks will again join the series on its 2009 schedule.

In the PRO Light class Traxxas driver Jeff Kincaid and Boss Snowplow's Chad Hord are tied for first in points. Chris Brandt is a close seven points behind the veteran drivers, but has only a narrow lead on Monster Energy driver Casey Currie. One thing is for sure, the race for the PRO Light Championship is going to be a wild ride!

Pacetruck

The PRO 2 WD points race equally as tight with Red Bull's Ricky Johnson only one point ahead of Rockstar driver Rob MacCachren. Both Johnson and MacCachren have been very consistent, both only having one finish outside of the top ten. Don't count out the rest of the top five, Todd LeDuc, Scott Taylor, and Jeremy McGrath have all been consistent this season and are very hungry for a championship.

PRO 4x4 driver Rick Huseman has had an amazing season, with only two finishes outside the top three, Huseman holds a twenty point lead on fellow Monster Energy driver Johnny Greaves. Greaves ran flawlessly the last two rounds at Bark River, so Greaves fans can expect to see big things from him on this return visit to Michigan. Kyle LeDuc follows closely behind, with AMSOIL superstar Scott Douglas and Curt Leduc rounding out the top five in points.

Currie

Anything is possible with only half of the season completed; it's hard to say who will come out on top at the season finale in Las Vegas. What fans can expect is some of the wildest battles that short course has seen in years! If you can't make it to Bark River, be sure to watch all of the weekend action Sunday August 16th at 11:30AM EST on ESPN2.

Bark River 101: Highlights:
Bark River International Raceway is located ten miles southwest of Escanaba, Michigan on U.S. Route 41. The original off-road track was 5 miles, racers were expected to complete 20 laps for a total of 100 miles, and thus the U.P. Off Road 100 was born. Over the years, the course continued to be shortened and reconfigured into the modern day track (1.5 miles). Bark River is said to be one of the most challenging courses on the TORC Series Schedule, where drivers can reach up to 90 miles per hour with the highest elevation change on the circuit. TORC GOES UNDER THE LIGHTS AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY ON SEPTEMBER 25TH AND 26TH- EXTENDS PALA AGREEMENT TO 2010

Corona, CA- (July 22nd, 2009)-- Officials from the Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL announced today that it will hold rounds 13 and 14 at Perris Auto Speedway in Perris, CA on September 25th and 26th, instead of the original plans to hold the events at PALA Motorsports park. This race will be televised on ESPN2.

Ricky Johnson of TORC: "We really wanted to pick the best situation possible to hold our first race at the new PALA facilities and with all the good things they have going on out there in their first season. We feel it's important that we build, test, and fine tune the facility in the off season and make sure things are perfect before we hold an event there; both the PALA officials and I agreed to re-schedule for 2010. We are renting the Perris facility and it will be set up very fan friendly with reduced ticket pricing and pits open to all without having to purchase pit passes."

"PALA Raceway is looking forward to holding our first short-course TORC event early in the 2010 season," stated Ryan Ouerlette of PALA Raceway. "We have so much going on in 2009 that we both agreed that 2010 would be a better time to add TORC to our schedule".

The inaugural season of The Traxxas TORC Series has gotten off to a great start in 2009 with close points battles in every class at the halfway point in the season. ESPN2 and ABC telecast have been very successful and the layout at Perris Auto Speedway will showcase the best action and best drivers in all of off-road racing.

Tickets will be $12 for Friday night with Kids under 13 getting in free. Saturday, tickets will be $20.00. Weekend passes will be $30.00. Gates will open at 3:00 and pits will be open to all ticket holders.

Crandon, Wisconsin - Rob MacCachren returned to his winning ways at the track he is well known for in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Since returning to owning and racing his own race truck, Rob MacCachren was victorious in just his fifth race. Victory in round five of the 2009 TORC Series secured MacCachren's second position in the series points, but Sunday the #11 Rockstar Energy Racing FORD F150 Pro 2 suffered a flat tire that put the winner to the back of the field. The third race of the weekend on Sunday evening was marred early by a huge wreck that put the #11 Pro 2 out of the race early.

"Returning to victory circle early in the season gives our program an added boost of confidence. This is a new team with veteran guys and although we've experienced some issues early on, this victory demonstrates that we can claim the season championship," said the Las Vegas resident.

"Of course I'm disappointed in the outcome of the Forest County Potawatomi Chairman's Cup race. We had a race truck take us out in the first turn and the result ended up with both of us hooked together so by the time we got untangled the Pro 4X4's were already by us and that basically was the end of our race," explained the dejected Crandon past champion.

However, an eight year absence for one of the winningest PRO racer ever to set foot in the famed dirt of Crandon International Raceway didn't stop him from setting yet another record this on Saturday. Rob MacCachren started his #11 Rockstar Energy Racing Ford F150 from the fifth position in the land rush start and he never looked back.

Some 20,000 people jammed into the festival seating on the Crandon International Raceway banked grass as the gloss black FORD F150 Rockstar Energy Racing truck put on the performance of the weekend as he passed the other Rockstar Energy sponsored Pro 2 of Todd LeDuc.

With three laps to go at the 1.65 mile race course, "MacCrandon," put an inside out move on Rockstar's LeDuc and railed around the outside of the 'Gravel Pit' to take the lead. Rob never looked back enroute to his 10th consecutive victory at Crandon International Raceway.

Crandon, Wisconsin - The last time Rob MacCachren raced at the world famous Crandon International Raceway was 2001. For the last eight years, many of the nation's top racers have churned up the dirt and rocks in search of the magic that MacCachren discovered at this 40 year old race course. To date, no one has established the winning record that MacCachren has over his 8-year span at the legendary raceway.

Crandon International Raceway is often regarded as the "Indianapolis Raceway" of the off road racing world. For the last four decades, the world of off road racing has seen the best of the best arrive to this track in search of "the magic," while many have gone home with nothing but mud and dirt covering every part of their trucks.
Rob MacCachren captured his first CUP victory in the spring of 1995, when the young off road racer took the world of off road by surprise and claimed the first of six CUP victories. To date, the Rockstar Energy Racing driver has won three Brush Run Chairman's CUP victories (1995, 2000, 2001) as well as three Borg-Warner World Championship CUP wins (1999, 2000, 2001) while racing in the elite PRO4WD class at the famed track.

In 1999, MacCachren set the fastest track time in the Borg-Warner Championship time trials with a time of 1:26:12.

MacCachren is the only racer since track records were established in 1970 to hold six total CUP victories, when combining the Brush Run and Borg-Warner Shootout races.

Now a decade later, Rob MacCachren returns to Crandon International Raceway in search of victory, as Crandon International Raceway kicks off a year of celebration, as they prepare for the 40th Anniversary of this legendary track during the fall race.
"Crandon has always been a race track where my team has had great success. It's exciting to return to Crandon after an eightyear absence. I've missed it and we are glad to return with the #11 Rockstar Energy Racing Pro 2WD for a memorable weekend of racing. This weekend is the third stop in the 2009 TORC season series and will feature Rounds 5 and 6 that kick off the Midwest swing of the season. TORC will bring all the superstars of off-road racing to Crandon International Raceway this season - the 40th anniversary at the track.

TORC and VORE Bring the Off Road Racing Experience to the Fans

Crandon, WI (March 24, 2009)-TORC and Vegas Off Road Experience (VORE) announce partnership in creating professional off road racing drivers through professional "hands-on" personal instruction.
