Mongo Racing Looks Forward to the Henderson’s Terrible “400” Off-Road Race

Randy Merritt is already preparing for the Best In The Desert Racing Association’s 2008 season. For the upcoming HENDERSON’S TERRIBLE “400”, November 30, December 1, 2, 2007, Randy and the Mongo Racing team will be experimenting with a few new set ups on the big yellow KC HiLiTES Ford F-150 in order to prepare for a strong showing at the launch of the 2008 season in Parker, Arizona.

As the defending 2006 Champion in the Stock Production Full-Size Pickup class, 2007 has proven to be very challenging. While starting out with a 2nd place finish at this year’s Parker race and a 1st in Pahrump, mechanical gremlins struck the Mongo Racing F-150 at “Vegas to Reno” and in Primm. Even so, Randy still holds on to 4th in points in this extremely competitive class going into the final race of the season.

While repeating his 2006 class championship may not be on the horizon, preparing for a strong finish and getting ready for 2008 is the goal. Next stop is the Best in the Desert BLUEWATER RESORT & CASINO PARKER “425”

February 1, 2, 3, 2008, in picturesque Parker, Arizona.
