LONDON - Dutch financial services brand ING has launched a YouTube channel to support its sponsorship of Formula 1 and the ING Renault F1 Team.

The site, www.youtube.com/user/INGExplains, hosts a series of short films entitled 'ING Explains', giving a behind-the-scenes look into the world of F1. Each video answers a 'frequently-asked question' about motor sport, from the thoughts of engineering staff, to first-hand experience of what it is like to drive an F1 car for the first time.
The film titles include 'Driving an F1 Car', 'Carbonfibre', 'The Look of an F1 Car' and 'Working in F1'. The content is also available at ING's own online video hub, http://ingf1.mediaseed.tv.

Elsewhere, the online savings brand ING Direct has called a review of its £4m UK direct marketing account. Incumbent agency Targetbase Claydon Heeley has held the account for five years.
