Crandon International Off Road Raceway, Crandon, Wisconsin.
Vehicle DynamiX designed Pro 4x4 race trucks took 1st and 2nd in the battle for the legendary World Champion Ring on Saturday at Crandon International Off Road Raceway. Both teams went faster with front suspensions designed by Vehicle DynamiX.
Curt Leduc’s brand new Pro 4x4 truck with its Vehicle DynamiX engineered front suspension emerged victorious. Josh Baldwin’s new Pro 4x4, also with suspension geometry designed by Vehicle DynamiX, finished a close second.
After the race, Curt said the truck worked great! The handling let him put it wherever he wanted.
Josh said his truck was “so easy to drive, balanced; the steering is excellent, that it took very little effort to put the truck where it should be!”
Vehicle DynamiX president, Mark Hansen
said, “We worked with Kevin Pence on the Baldwin truck during the fall of 2006. Kevin specified certain parameters then we designed the suspension geometry within those and package constraints. Since their first times in the truck, both Josh Baldwin and motocross legend Ricky Johnson have said they really like the way the truck steers. This weekend demonstrated the potential of blending top engineering with top fabrication. It’s been a great project and it’s great to see the success.”
Last winter, Vehicle DynamiX designed Curt Leduc’s front suspension. The differential was the driving factor. After his first race, Curt’s comment was a high five and “It handles great! Now I have to learn how to drive it!” The Crandon Championship proves he has that figured out.
