San Diego: Bonhomme bounces back before big U.S. crowd
Britain's Paul Bonhomme led the Qualifying sessions of the Red Bull Air Race in San Diego in front of 57,000 spectators on Saturday, bouncing back from two disappointing training sessions on Friday with the fastest time of the day ahead of Sunday's second race of the season. Americans Mike Mangold and Kirby Chambliss took second and third, respectively, while Austria’s Hannes Arch grabbed fourth place, proving the first podium of his career with second place in the season opener in Abu Dhabi was no fluke. more..
