rob mac headLAS VEGAS, Nevada - Off road racing champion, Rob MacCachren, will solo drive the #20 ROCKSTAR/Mastercraft Trophy Truck in Round 4 of the five-race 2009 SCORE Desert Series to be held September 11-13 in Primm, Nevada.

MacCachren, the 2007 SCORE Baja 1000 Champion, finalized a last minute deal with long-time MacCachren Motorsports supporter, MasterCraft. The opportunity to drive Robbie Pierce's second JIMCO Trophy Truck developed when Riviera Racing's Mark Post withdrew from the SCORE International Primm 300 on Friday, September 4, 2009. MacCachren was in Crandon, Wisconsin for the 40th Anniversary of Crandon International Raceway and the 2009 TORC Series PRO 2WD races when he began to put this deal together with MasterCraft owner, Robbie Pierce.

"In between races we were on the phone back and forth to the West Coast working on this deal in between our Pro 2 qualifying, practices and races at Crandon Raceway. I'm stoked that it all came together. The JIMCO Trophy Truck has FOX Racing Shox and 39" Baja T/A KR's and Mike Julson builds a pristine truck," said the smiling Rob MacCachren.

The 14th Annual SCORE Terrible's Primm 300 will feature 18 Pro and 2 Sportsman classes for cars and trucks in Primm, Nevada located 45 miles south of Las Vegas at the California border. A total of 23 SCORE Trophy-Trucks, the marquee SCORE racing division for high-tech, 800-horsepower unlimited production trucks have entered the Primm 300 event.

Rob MacCachren commented, "I'm very excited to debut the ROCKSTAR/MasterCraft JIMCO SCORE Trophy Truck at the Primm 300 race. Unfortunate circumstances will keep the Riviera Racing Trophy Truck idle at this race and we worked closely with one of my long time supporters, Robbie Pierce, as well as ROCKSTAR Energy Drink to put this deal together. ROCKSTAR is really pumped up for this race and we expect to be in front of the pack at the end of the race. In fact, we will debut two ROCKSTAR/MasterCraft Trophy Trucks at this race so we double the chance that the SCORE Primm 300 Champion will be a ROCKSTAR/MasterCraft race truck."
