ARICERO-MILLER RACING’S DON TEBBE NAMED CHANDLER BRUNING SPORTSMAN AWARD RECIPENT

Foothill Ranch, Calif. (July 31, 2007) — Arciero-Miller Racing (AMR) is pleased to announced today that Don Tebbe, General Manager of AMR, received the Chandler Bruning Sportsman award on behalf of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) organization. Tebbe was selected for his efforts during the 2007 PPIHC. According to the PPIHC organization, the recipient of the award is chosen by Randy Ruyle, The Director of Competition, based upon ones ability to go above and beyond to help other competitors and competing teams even when time doesn’t allow.

Ryan Arciero commented, “Don exemplifies sportsmanship, he is committed and dedicated to not only our team but the sport of off-road racing. He truly inspires confidence and I am honored to have him heading up the Arciero-Miller Racing team.”

Mark Miller also reflected upon this award by saying, “For the PPIHC organization to recognize the generosity and teamwork that Don has put forth at the hill climb is no surprise to me. He always conducts our team and all the sports competitors with the utmost respect.”

The award was named after Chandler Bruning after he died during a qualifying session in 2001 when he crashed his 1999 Monte Carlo only 200 yards from the start line. It was during the 79th Race to the Clouds. Chandler a second generation racer and his family were well liked competitors on the hill. The Chandler Bruning Sportsman award celebrates its sixth year and will continue to honor people who have demonstrated enthusiasm, perseverance, and personal commitment to helping others.

PPIHC is honored to recognize extraordinary team players, such as Don Tebbe,” said Bob Gillis, Vice Chairman Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
